Bulova UK Ltd have partnered with GLAMOUR magazine to launch an exciting nationwide search for the female ‘Face of Bulova’ in association with jeweller H.Samuel.
Targeted at fashionistas, the ‘Face of Bulova’ campaign will reinforce Bulova’s brand position as a desirable, fashionable watch brand, ideal for the H.Samuel customer. The ‘Face of Bulova’ campaign launches with 4 gorgeous watch styles inspired by the ‘Big Apple’ and various landmark destinations in New York City which will be sold in H.Samuel stores. We just wish we could have them

The competition is open to readers of
GLAMOUR via a large scale in-magazine and online campaign running over 7 months and to visitors of
H.Samuel stores through the jeweller’s in-store, online and social media. Entrants will be asked to submit photographs of themselves via
Glamourmagazine.co.uk, which will be judged by a panel of experts including members from
Bulova, the
GLAMOUR fashion team and the H.Samuel Buying team.
Gemma Miskimmon, H.Samuel Watches Buyer said; ‘It’s exciting to be able to influence the face of the brand. Her character, personality and style will not only bring Bulova to life, but influence the look of our store displays. We’re proud to be selling the Finalist watches exclusively within H.Samuel.’
Following the judges’ votes, a shortlist of 6 finalists will be announced and invited to model 6 Bulova ‘Finalist’ watches in a London based photoshoot. Readers of GLAMOUR magazine will then be invited to vote for their personal favourite ‘Face of Bulova’ and ‘Finalist watch’ from the final six before a single ‘Face of Bulova’ winner is chosen along with the favourite watch.

The lucky ‘Face of Bulova’ winner will experience an enviable 3 day VIP trip to NYC including a full scale GLAMOUR fashion photoshoot to showcase the Finalist collection and unveil Bulova’s new ‘face’ and exclusive winner’s watch design. The winner will be revealed in the November issue of GLAMOUR magazine and will also feature in Bulova’s Christmas advertising campaign.
H.Samuel Westfield White City store will host an exclusive in-store GLAMOUR magazine reader event following the winner’s announcement where Bulova fans will meet the winner herself, experience trend talks about Bulova watches and try on the new exclusive collection.
Liam McAllister, Bulova’s UK Product Marketing Manager said: “The campaign is a great opportunity for Bulova to generate a multiplatform experience through in-store, print, online and social media as well as cultivating the 20-30 female consumer. It is an exciting campaign for all involved.”
