All this week there has been a sense of Jubilee fever within shops, pubs, restaurants, Brighton Beach and at Believe Eve HQ – yes the bunting is up!
As the extra long weekend arrives we take a look at the Queen’s most stylish moments in our ‘Lovely Jub-i-lee’ Queen Elizabeth II fashion feature.
Last week, in the Sunday Times, 4 beautiful images of Queen Elizabeth II were printed and published onto postcards. Her Majesty was labelled as a true ‘style icon’. Looking back through her lively reign as Queen of England here are some of our favourite royal robes.

This Christian Dior inspired silhouette clings perfectly to The Queens tiny waist and slender hips. The beautiful lace detail of this stunning dress brings 1950s glamour. The skinny belt nipped at the waist, the 1920s style T-Bar heels and drapes of pearls around Her Majesty’s neck complete the outfit. And if one person makes carrying an umbrella look gracious, Queen Elizabeth certainly does.

A perfect pastel pallet fit for The Queen. Pastels are currently storming the high street and catwalks for Spring/Summer 2012 and doesn’t Her Majesty look beautiful in all these shades? I have always thought she looked lovely in lemon but as these pictures show coral and pink work for the Queen too. We especially love the contrasting jacket with the blue and yellow floral dress, colour clashing at its best!
Celebrating 60 years of reigning our nation and 60 years of looking fabulous, Congratulations Queen Elizabeth II!
Have a lovely Jubilee celebratory weekend!
