Thats a ‘Jubilee’ Wrap!

Today sees the final unveiling of the ‘Jubilee Wrap’ covering the riverside of ‘Sea Containers House’ on London’s South Bank. Considered the largest banner ever to be produced in the UK, the wrap depicts the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1977 and has been produced by Service Graphics, the large format print and display division of the St Ives Group on behalf of its client the private real estate development firm, Deerbrook Group.

Measuring an astonishing 100m x 37m, the banner has been gradually put into place throughout this week by the Service Graphics installation team. The final piece which features HM The Queen was placed at 10am this morning in front of a congregation of national press filming from HMS President. The job is to date the largest ever produced by Service Graphics and indeed the largest ever produced on PVC in the UK.

The Jubilee Wrap completes today ahead of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations taking place on the weekend of 2-5 June, during which a flotilla of boats will pass along the river, with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh travelling in the Royal Barge.

Scott King, Sales Director of Service Graphics says “We are delighted to work with Deerbrook Group to produce such an extraordinary building banner. This project represents the largest ever single graphic produced by Service Graphics; we are extremely pleased with the result and hope HM The Queen will be too.”

We think the banner looks fantastic and I am sure the Queen will agree! Well done Service Graphics!
